Originally, the main aim of my GRIDZ project was to try and get a better overall visual understanding as to how textures and sky’s worked together in Bryce and their outcome.
All designs are based on the same template but different textures are used on the plane and objects (1 - 3 spheres, normally) coupled with a different sky setting to get the overall colour.
On some I’ve rendered twice but changed texture on the plane to be more reflective(to accept more sky colour), and then merged together to give a slight foreground shadow which I think enhances the depth a bit!
